Grammar: Possessive Pronouns

Possessive pronouns are those which shows possession or ownership. This means that a possessive pronoun shows that something belongs to someone or something. Examples : hers, ours, yours, my, his, her, theirs, mine.

1. This is not yours. It is (mine)
2. I have lost my biro. Will you lend me (yours)?
3. It is not ours. Where is (hers)?
4. This is his car. Where is (hers)?

Exercise
Give five examples of possessive pronoun, and make a sentence with each.
