Angles and Directions

Remember that angles are formed when two edges/lines meet. An angle gives idea of measure of turn. Hence, to measure the angle of an object /lines, we measure the amount of turn from one position to another. The following are types of angles:

Right angle, Acute angle, Obtuse angle and Reflex Angle.

Straight Line = 180

Right angle =90

Acute angles are less than 90

Obtuse angles are greater than 90

Reflex angles are greater than 180 but less than 360

Home – work: Draw a shape that contains at least one acute angle and one obtuse angle.

                          Draw a shape that contains at least one right angle and one acute angle.
