            CONSEQUENCES OF HARMFUL TRADITIONAL PRACTICES

1. DEATH: Some of traditional practices come along with serious pains which may lead to death ec entually. Improper handling of female circumcision also could cause serious infections leadin to death.

2. SEXUAL DISORDER: Female Genital Mutilation may cause serious sexual disorder when the girl or lady is married. Such problem may cause marital problem leading to divorce or childlessness.

3. SPREAD OF HIV/ AIDS: If female genital mutilation is carried out with infected surgical instrument, such person automatically becomes an HIV/AIDS patient.

      Furthermore, female spouse sharing practice among some communities may equally lead to the spread of HIV/ AIDS.
