IMPARTIALITY

       James 2:1-13

Partiality means to be bias of or showing too much favour for one person or side. It means to like one more than others. Partiality means having a liking for or showing favouritism in treating people. It also means discrimination.
JAMES TEACHING ON PARTIALITY
James instructed Christians not to show favouritism or discrimination, but to accept others, as they are all equal before God.
According to James, there should be equality, love and fidelity among them. God showed no partiality, therefore neither should Christians. There should be no discrimination between the seats for the poor and the rich in Churches.
James encouraged Christians to love their neighbours as themselves. He said that they should let their thoughts and actions conform with those that are to be judged under the law of liberty.
James concluded that the kingdom of God is promised to the poor who are rich in faith. He advised Christian to accept his brother with courtesy, compassion and consistency.
