MEANS OF TRASNMITTING INFORMATION
Means of information transmission refers to the requirements that make each communication channel functional.
There are two major means of transmitting information. They are electronic and non – electronic means.
Electronic Means → These refer to communication channels/methods of information transmission that require electricity to function live/directly. These channels are therefore referred to as electronic channels.
Examples are:
Radio
Television
Fax
Telex
Computer
Public Address System
Digital Bill Board
Non – Electronic Means → This is the category of those methods of information transmission that do not require the use electricity to function live/directly. The channels here are known as non – electronic channels.
