Mosaic is an art technique in which small pieces of various materials such as broken glasses, stones ,beads, wood and tiles are arranged and glued together to form a design.it is one of the most durable form of decorative art.

STEPS IN MAKING A MOSAIC

Materials used in mosaic production can be easily sourced from our immediate environment, so gather all materials in use in the same place, and get your board ready for your work following these simple easy steps.

1) Draw the object on your cardboard or hardboard using a pencil.

2) Break/Cut the stones ,pebbles or bottles into small bits.

3) Following the outline of your drawing, apply gum on a small segment of your drawing and arrange the cut  pieces of the pebbles, stone or bottles to fill the outline.

4) Repeat step 3 until every area of the drawing is covered by the materials in use.

5) Allow work to dry
