Temperature is the degree of hotness or coldness of a body. It tells how cold or warm our body is.
A thermometer is the standard instrument used to measure temperature.

Liquid-in-glass thermometer e.g. mercury-in-glass thermometer and a alcohol-in glass thermometer.
Maximum and Minimum thermometer
Clinical thermometer: A clinical thermometer is used in hospitals to measure body temperature.
